ibid software package provides easily extensible Python IM bot for IRC, Jabber, SILC, campfire, etc., you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ibid
ibid is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ibid package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ibid *
You will get with ibid package name, version, architecture and description in a table
